We have a lot of updates to share with you as 2018 gets underway. As many of you know, last year Ahmed and I were growing veggies at Grand Union Farms here in Grand Forks. As it was our first season farming on our own, and not employed as farmhands, it was quite eventful…. to say the least. But we came to the end of October exhausted, but on a high, feeling like we had succeeded at what we set out to do for that year.

So now we move into our second year, re-energized and with big plans. We won’t be at Grand Union this year. We are leasing a property at the end of Boundary Dr. north of the high school. With the move we also have our new name – Settle Down Farm.
We’re busy right now getting the infrastructure up that we’ll need for the season and always praying for the sun to come out and warm up the greenhouse. Be sure to like and follow our Facebook page for more updates on when and where our veggies will be available!
